A 3 in a corner touches exactly three squares, so all three are mines.

How to play Mines
Uncover every square that isn't hiding a mine. Each number tells you how many mines touch that square.

Goal
Uncover all the safe squares without uncovering a mine.
How to play
- Tap a square to uncover it. Your first tap is always safe and opens up part of the board.
- A number shows how many of the eight squares around it are mines. A blank square has none, so its neighbours open automatically.
- Flag the squares you know are mines: switch to Flag, right-click, or press and hold.
- Tap a number whose mines are all flagged to uncover the rest of its neighbours at once.
- You win when every safe square is uncovered. Every board here can be cleared by reasoning alone, with no guessing.

| Right-click | Flag or unflag a square |
Tips
- A 1 that touches only one covered square: that square is a mine.
- A number that already touches that many flags: every other square around it is safe.
- Compare neighbouring numbers. A 1 beside a 2 along a wall often settles two squares at once.
- On Easy and Medium, a hint highlights a square you can prove is safe.
Scoring
- Every correct answer is worth 100 points, scaled by difficulty (Easy ×0.8, Medium ×1, Hard ×1.3, Expert ×1.6).
- Answering within 3 seconds adds a 25-point speed bonus.
- Each answer in a row adds a 15-point streak bonus, up to 10 in a row.
- Using a hint halves the points for that answer and skips the bonuses. Hints are only available on Easy and Medium.
- Your score, streak and achievements are saved to your account when the game ends.
