What a free account includes, what Membership adds, and the add-ons and one-time purchases in between.
Free, with an account#
A free account costs nothing and needs no card. It includes:
- 1 scored test, with your overall score
- 10 practice questions in every category
- 10 vocabulary words in every topic
- 10 general knowledge questions in every topic
- 10 rounds of every brain game
- Capitals and Word Scramble: 5 free rounds every day
Your overall score is always free, on every test you take. A plan adds the full breakdown, your certificate, retakes and everything else.
Membership#
Membership unlocks everything on BrainTally, including everything we add later:
- every assessment, with full results and a certificate
- all practice, vocabulary, general knowledge and games, with no limits
- a retake every 30 days
It costs $14.99 a month, or $79.99 a year paid yearly ($6.67 a month, saving 56%).
Pay once: Score Report and retakes#
- Score Report ($9.99): the full results and certificate for one test you've taken, plus one retake. Nothing renews.
- Retake ($4.99) or a Retake Pack of 3 ($9.99): take a test again. Nothing renews.
Add-ons#
An add-on unlocks one area on top of the free plan, from $4.99 a month: Vocabulary Builder (the whole vocabulary library), General Knowledge (every topic), or Brain Games (every game, unlimited). Membership already includes all three.
