Retaking a test

How to get a retake, how to start one, and why a retake gives you different questions.

Each test can be taken once. To take it again you use a retake credit. Your dashboard shows how many you have under Retake credits.

Getting retakes#

  • Membership includes a retake every 30 days.
  • A Score Report ($9.99) includes one retake.
  • Buy a single Retake ($4.99) or a Retake Pack of 3 ($9.99) from Billing, or from Buy retakes on your dashboard when you have none left. Nothing renews.

Starting a retake#

  1. On your dashboard, find the test under Your assessments and press More beside it.

  2. Choose Retake this assessment. It uses your plan's retake, or one of your retake credits, and starts the test like the first time.

  3. Your new result appears beside your earlier ones in Score over time.

Different questions#

A retake gives you a different version of the test where one exists, with questions you haven't seen, so your new score reflects your reasoning and not your memory of the last attempt.
