Billing: your plan, payments and invoices

Buy or change a plan, switch between monthly and yearly, add an add-on, update your card, download invoices, or cancel.

Billing, in the Account menu, is where you manage everything you pay for. Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider.

Billing: your plan, what renews when, and every payment.

Your plan#

The top of the page shows your plan, its price, and when it renews (or ends).

  • Start a plan: choose Monthly or Yearly (yearly saves 56%), then pay. Have a coupon? Enter it before you pay.
  • Change plan: you see the exact price of the change before you confirm. An upgrade starts straight away and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. A downgrade starts at your next renewal.
  • Switch to yearly: you pay the yearly price now, less what's left of the current month. Switch to monthly starts when your year ends, and nothing is charged now.
  • Cancel: everything keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. You won't be charged again, and you can keep your plan any time before then.

Add-ons#

An add-on unlocks one area on top of the free plan, from $4.99 a month: Vocabulary Builder, General Knowledge or Brain Games. Membership already includes all of them, and the page says so.

Things you buy once#

  • Score Report ($9.99): choose which test it's for. It unlocks that test's full results and certificate, plus a retake.
  • Retake ($4.99) and Retake Pack ($9.99 for 3).

Nothing you buy once ever renews.

Your card#

Press Update card to change the card your plan is charged to.

If a payment fails, the page says so and your plan keeps working while we try again. Update your card to avoid losing it.

Payments and invoices#

Every payment and refund is listed at the bottom, with an Invoice to download for each. Asking for a refund? Choose Request refund beside the payment. See Refunds.

Still stuck? The team usually replies within one business day.
