By using BrainTally, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
BrainTally provides cognitive assessments, practice questions, vocabulary and general knowledge content, and games, for informational, learning and entertainment purposes. It is not a clinical or diagnostic tool, and results should not be used as the basis for medical, educational, or employment decisions.
Accounts and plans
You can use a free plan without paying anything. Some features and content need a paid plan or add-on. What each plan includes and what it costs are shown on our pricing page and again before you pay.
Payment and renewal
Payments are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paid plans and add-ons are billed in advance for each billing period (monthly unless the price you choose says otherwise) and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we change the price of a plan you hold, we will tell you before the new price applies to you.
Changing plans
If you upgrade, the new plan starts straight away and you are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, pro rata; the amount is shown before you confirm. If you downgrade or remove an add-on, the change takes effect at your next renewal, and you keep what you have until then.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your billing page — no need to contact us. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access to what you have paid for until the end of the current period, after which your account moves to the free plan. Your results stay in your account. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period; see our Refund policy for when and how refunds are made.
Organization plans
An organization plan is bought and managed by the organization's administrator and covers a set number of member seats. Adding seats is charged pro rata for the rest of the current period; removing seats takes effect straight away with no credit for the current period.
Your right to cancel under consumer law
Nothing here limits any statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country or region — for example, a right to cancel a contract for digital content within a set period after purchase. Where those rights apply and conflict with the plan terms above, your statutory rights take priority.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or share your account access with others in a way that circumvents billing.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the changes.
